Currently serving as a Grade 4 teacher in a Dual Language Program in Harrisonburg, Virginia, I bring over 14 years of diverse educational experience to the table. With a background that spans English immersion in Chile and Spanish classroom instruction in the United States, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional academic support.

My career is defined by adaptability and a commitment to bilingual education. I spent a significant portion of my career in my home country of Chile, where I worked as a classroom teacher for Grades 1, 2, and 3 in an English immersion school. During this time, I utilized a project-based curriculum to teach English, Science, Social Studies, and Math. Additionally, I have seven years of experience teaching Grade 4 as a Spanish classroom teacher in the United States and hold a certification from the University of Toronto to teach English internationally. This extensive background allows me to support students across multiple subjects in both English and Spanish comfortably.

Beyond academic content, I am deeply committed to the holistic development of my students. I have been recognized for my ability to develop and implement global and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curricula that enhance both learning outcomes and behavioral skills. I believe that successful tutoring requires patience, strong communication, and collaboration—qualities that I have honed throughout my career to build trust with students and parents alike.

Le escribo para expresar mi gran interés en el puesto de tutora. Actualmente trabajando como maestra de 4º grado en un Programa de Lenguaje Dual en Harrisonburg, Virginia, aporto más de 14 años de experiencia educativa diversa. Con una trayectoria que abarca la inmersión en inglés en Chile y la enseñanza en el aula en español en los Estados Unidos, confío en mi capacidad para brindar un apoyo académico excepcional.

Mi carrera se define por la adaptabilidad y el compromiso con la educación bilingüe. Pasé una parte significativa de mi carrera en mi país natal, Chile, donde trabajé como maestra de aula para los grados 1, 2 y 3 en una escuela de inmersión en inglés. Durante este tiempo, utilicé un currículo basado en proyectos para enseñar inglés, ciencias, estudios sociales y matemáticas. Además, tengo siete años de experiencia enseñando 4º grado como maestra de español en los Estados Unidos y poseo una certificación de la Universidad de Toronto para enseñar inglés internacionalmente. Esta extensa trayectoria me permite apoyar a los estudiantes en múltiples materias, tanto en inglés como en español, con total fluidez.

He sido reconocida por mi capacidad para desarrollar e implementar currículos globales y de Aprendizaje Socioemocional (SEL) que mejoran tanto los resultados de aprendizaje como las habilidades conductuales. Creo que una tutoría exitosa requiere paciencia, una comunicación sólida y colaboración; cualidades que he perfeccionado a lo largo de mi carrera para generar confianza tanto con los estudiantes como con los padres.

Soy una educadora trabajadora y entusiasta que busca constantemente mejorar su desempeño. Asumo total responsabilidad por mi desarrollo profesional aprovechando activamente las oportunidades para ampliar mis conocimientos. Fundamental para mi práctica docente es mi capacidad para reflexionar eficazmente sobre mis lecciones, analizando qué salió bien e identificando áreas de mejora.
