Greetings. I'm Daniel Avena, an Argentine Elementary School teacher. For more than 15 years I’ve been teaching Spanish, Maths, Science and Social Studies to students from 6 to 12 years old.
I have also taught basic IT & English to teenagers and adults, and in the last 5 Spanish for
non-native speakers (children and adults from Chinese, Arabic, Russian, American English, etc. backgrounds).
I'm proficient - C1 to C2 level- in English, and also have skills in other 6 languages: Portuguese B2, French A2, Italian B1, German A1, Arabic A2 and Russian A1. (CEFR levels).
The classes I offer are individual, group, regular or intensive. Focused to non-Spanish speakers, heritage speakers, advanced students, etc., etc.
I have a collected for that - and made by myself also - a large amount of useful, clear & customized class digital materials: videos, audios, websites, etc.. All tailored for different types of students: Chinese, Russian, Arabic, English & many other non-Spanish speakers. Also to people with particular interests and needs such as: tango, architecture & photography, aviation, history & culture of Southern Cone countries, etc.
I advise and I am able to provide guidance – using them as Spanish classes topics – regarding problems and procedures related to the educational system, real estate business, job searches, health system, basic plumbing and other basic reparations, administrative procedures, legislation, customs, etc. for Argentina.
I prepare for international Spanish exams at all levels. That’s it, as example:
1- Standard Spanish International Service of Evaluation of the Spanish Language SIELE exam, developed by the Cervantes Institute, UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico), University of Salamanca and UBA (University of Buenos Aires). This exam can be taken in thousands of locations, all around the world.
2- Spaniard (peninsular) Spanish - Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE), awarded by the Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Spain Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports. DELE can be taken at Cervantes Institutes locations, and in its network of more than 1,000 examination centers in more than 100 countries.
